40 mm caliber grenade launcher GP-25 is designed for installation on Kalashnikov system AKM and AK-74 type automatic rifles. It is used to destroy an openly deployed manpower. The grenade launcher is equipped with a mechanical target device, which allows the target to produce a maximum of 400 meters.

The grenade launcher uses Soviet-standard Vog-25 and Vog-25P barrels, and their clones are produced in different countries.
