The 82-mm mortar GM-82 is designed to destroy enemy manpower, light armor, motor vehicles and firing positions. Used for direct firing support of battalion level subdivision.

The mortar GM-82 is designed according to the classic scheme and includes: 82 mm caliber smooth barrel, support legs with mechanical barrel lifting-lifting device, reversing crushing mechanism, stand tile and optical targeting device. A special device for protection against double charging is installed at the bottom of the barrel, if desired.
